This is Nurdan's third story on the journal — and once again a different profile: a boutique hotel immersed in nature in Çıralı. She took a 3-night getaway with her 21-month-old and rated the holiday 9 out of 10.
"With its nature, its quiet and its quality kitchen, it's an ideal hotel for short getaways."
Full, but never crowded
"Even though the hotel was completely full, it never once felt crowded," says Nurdan. She found the layout and the design of the restaurants very well done; walking among olive and fruit trees and spending quiet, peaceful evenings were among her favourite details. She gave full marks to the sleep & room and layout categories; the room even had a bassinet.
The kitchen: beyond expectations
The food and drink side turned out better than she expected: quick service, delicious dishes and, especially in the evenings, a quality restaurant "with a fine-dining feel." A baby/kids' buffet and a high chair were available too. On a bed & breakfast basis, she rated the price/quality balance as "good."
The sea and the caretta beach
The sea is reached on foot; "the distance isn't bothersome, and the shore is really pleasant." She found the sea shallow and safe, and there is a separate children's pool as well. Here's the detail worth knowing: because the beach is a caretta caretta nesting area, it is "an unspoiled beach rather than a private one" — outside visitors sometimes come and lay their towels down too. It didn't bother Nurdan; but it's a question mark for anyone expecting a private-beach experience.
Who is it for, and for how long?
There's no kids' club, and there aren't many activities in the area either — Nurdan's only minus is that stays longer than 3 nights "might feel a little slow." But then, that was never the hotel's promise: "For a short getaway — for anyone who wants to rest, unwind and enjoy nature — I think it's a wonderful choice."
